1. Prepare Surface for BRIWAX.
Use fine sandpaper to lightly go over the wood to remove
the top layer of wood fibers that have become bruised and/or dirty. Be generous with your
sandpaper. Clogged sandpaper will not get the wood grain clean and open for best results
with BRIWAX.
2. Work BRIWAX Thoroughly Into the Grain.
Apply a liberal amount of
BRIWAX with #0000 (fine) oil free
steel wool. Always present a clean portion of the wool pad to the working area. Clogged
pads should be replaced as soon, as noticed.
Heat from friction is the secret ingredient to the rich,
deep luster of a BRIWAX finish, use a side to side motion from the wrist while working
BRIWAX in the direction of the grain.
BRIWAX blends in to itself and never leaves a lap line, so
you may stop and start at any point.3. Buff To the Desired Luster with A Clean Lint-Free
Cloth. BRIWAX should be allowed to dry 3-5 minutes before buffing. Scuffs or spots can be corrected with a soft cloth
moistened with fresh BRIWAX.
NOTE: INCREASED
GLOSS CAN BE OBTAINED BY FIRST SEALING THE WOOD WITH BRIWAX SANDING WOOD SEALER.
